I can get you one of you want... I work with a specific broker in NZ that would take care of the full import process for you, due to your importation laws that are a bit more complicated than usual.

Think you can do something like this? Probably not in the market for one for another few months or so, so its not urgent.  http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1303184735

It’s literally my job to ship Cappuccinos, Beats or Skylines around the world so sure :)

Expect a landed price (before taxes and port fees) of between 5000 and 8000 USD depending on mileage, condition...etc. Most expensive one I’ve sold was 7500 USD landed, but it had 60000km on the clock and was perfect.

Awesome! I’ll keep you in mind when I’m ready to go through the process of getting one.

This car is death proof, but honey...you really need to be sitting where I am!

I also get asked why I got my car as isn’t always comfortable for passengers. I explain I don’t buy my car for passengers.

When I had my mustang, I had to give airport rides to friends from time to time... Then I got a Corvette. No more airport rides!

How are they for taller people (6'3)? I’ve always liked them, and they seem like a fun replacement for the MR2 (if/when it needs replacing).

I’m 6'2 and I fit well... It’s not roomy in anyway, but I fit well...

Here is a quick video of me driving one down Mount Rokko (Originally did that video for a car I was selling...). You can see my leg position, considering I’m 6'2 and about 185lbs.

If you want it to be roomier, a thiner race-ish seat and a smaller wheel would make it really confortable.

I’m getting a car from Flavian. Ships to the US in less tha. 2 weeks. I would strongly recommend him.

I’ve thought about these but they’re quite expensive in Australia. Much more than my SW20. For a car that’s slower, smaller, less practical with less power and much harder to find parts for...it’s hard to justify.

Roof is cool but ;)

By the time I do my next track day, my car will be safer and more comfortable for the passenger than for me.

I generally don’t even carry a passenger, if I can help it... but when I do he or she is getting the nice padded FIA seat, and I’m keeping the too-snug Kirkey (for now). Lucky them!

Most of your comparison would also apply to ZZW30 vs. SW20, so it wouldn’t be that big of a departure from what I know. ;)

Price-wise as well: decent post-facelift W30s go for €8-11k here, and it looks like a Capp is similar.

Hey now! I’d wager a turbo SW20 would be considerably quicker than a ZZW30! Not to mention more practical. Two trunks!

I got my SW20 for 8.5k. There’s a single Cap on Carsales.com.au for 12.5, and I’m certain it’s been there more than a year.
